Important Information

Karmann Ghia seat covers are usually basket weave vinyl. Seat cover restoration may be other vinyls. Other possibilities for new seat covers are combinations of two vinyls or vinyl and cloth. The listed seat covers are the most popular fabric choices. We are happy to help with selecting special seat covers, such as one vinyl as the trim (surround) and another as the main fabric The main fabric in the seat can be a full width or a twelve inch width.

TMI seat covers dominate the restoration market and most dealers that offer seat covers utilize these. TMI makes authentic seat covers both in fabric texture, fabric originality, pleating, and original fit. As there are so may seat cover variations possible it is not possible to inventory enough of them to provide quick delivery, in most cases. Proper seat cover replacement involves taking the seats out of the car and often replacing the stuffing. All seat cover restoration procedures are covered in our seat cover restoration manual.

These are factory replacement seat covers, not slip overs. They are intended for proper, long lasting, and original quality new seats in your Karmann Ghia.
