VW Defroster "Y" Connector - Left or Right - Beetle 1968-77 - Super 71-72 The defroster vent installs at either the left or right side, back edge of the trunk (near the hood hinges) and connecters the dash defroster hoses that come up from the heater channel, at the back of the fender well, and connect the hose to the dash corner vent and the center dash vents. The bottom inlet port has a 47mm outer diameter. The two outer outlets at the top, have 32mm outer diameters, the center outlet has a 26mm OD.
