For Type 1, 2, 3, Ghia and Thing This Delrin shift rod guide bushing replaces the stock shift rod bushing, which is known to be difficult to install, wear prematurely, and provide a loose, imprecise shifter feel. Engineered for improved durability, this replacement bushing delivers smoother, more precise shifting with a solid, positive feel. Recommended Additional Upgrades: Billet Shift Coupler P/N: 16-5110-7 & 16-5106-7 Note: Apply grease to both the inside and outside of the bushing before installation. Attempting to remove the bushing after installation may damage or break it.
