Original headliners were mohair cloth until 1964. Thereafter all headliners were perforated vinyl. You may select either cloth or vinyl for any year of bus, kombi, or vanagon.
Note that VW White is a very pale gray. Please select your color (see the fabric link above) and specify the color, and choice of perforated or unperforated vinyl in the checkout message box.
Most vinyl headliners were originally perforated vinyl, which was thought to prolong its life by allowing breathability. From 1972 onward, solid roof headliners were either perforated or unperforated (crush grain) vinyl. Breathability turned out not to be an issue.
