An electric fuel pump can be an excellent option versus the original mechanical fuel pumps. An electric fuel pump pushes fuel at its rated pressure. Since it does not pull fuel from the tank it is important to mount it under or close to the tank so that fuel flows easily to the pump. (This can confer a safety advantage in removing the fuel line from above the distributor. We offer mounting kits for our electric fuel pumps but some devise their own mounting system. Determine the pressure in psi that is ideal for your carburetor and use the regulator to maintain this pressure.
